Coronation Street star Alan Halsall was left stunned as he managed just a one-word reaction to castmate Claire Sweeney's latest sensational appearance - before she seemingly confirmed his big move.

While when she first joined the ITV soap as Cassie Plummer last year she admitted to being lost without her big eyelashes and clean nails, away from the cobbles, Claire is nothing short of glamourous and she proved it during her latest outing.

The actress and her partner Ricky Hatton were among the famous faces headed to the Football For Change 2024 Gala in her home city of Liverpool over the weekend. Taking to social media, Claire shared snaps from the evening, including a photo of her posing for the camera in a plunging sparkly gown.
