The actor, famed for playing Weatherfield's Tyrone Dobbs, has headed down under to take part in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here 2024 alongside a string of other famous faces having had to pull out of last year's series due to having surgery for an ACL injury.
In a post on the official Corrie social media channels, some of Alan's co-stars were seen issuing messages of support to Alan.
Liam McCheyne who plays Weatherfield's Dylan Wilson, kicked off by saying: "All the best for the jungle, mate. You'll absolutely smash it, have a great time and I'll see you when you're back.
