Among them is Coronation Street's very own Alan Halsall. In the first episode, the soap star paired up with Tulisa Contostavlos and they triumphed in becoming the camp leaders.
However, his on-screen mum, Claire Sweeney, reckons we've yet to see the best of Alan. On Friday's episode of Good Morning Britain, Claire gushed about her on-screen son's performance in the jungle so far.
She said: "Isn't he wonderful? I know Maureen Lipman came on here and she said he'll start off quietly just watch and observe and then he'll come forward. "That's what he'll do, he's brilliant Alan, he's such a funny guy.
