Cops remind motorists to be vigilant when defrosting vehicles after spate of car thefts in Lanarkshire

Police in Lanarkshire are urging people to be vigilant when defrosting their vehicles in the icy weather after three reports of motor theft in the last two days.Officers first received a report of a stolen grey Lexus ES300H, with registration SG21 DZE, at about 9am on Monday, January 16, 2023, from High Blantyre Road, Hamilton.Shortly after on the same morning, police responded after a black Vauxhall Vivaro van, registration SA18 RWY, was stolen from Victoria Street, in the town.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
