An investigation has been launched after police evacuated the STV studios in Glasgow on Tuesday evening following reports of a suspicious item in a car park.
The Pacific Quay building and all surrounding roads have now reopened after the incident at around 6.40pm last night. Officers from Police Scotland say the matter has been resolved but enquiries are continuing.
The road reopened shortly after 1am.Police also confirmed that a "controlled explosion" was carried out.A statement read: “Officers were called around 6.40pm on Tuesday, 17 October, 2023, to a report of a suspect item in a car park in Govan Road, near the South Rotunda, in Glasgow.“A cordon was put in place as a precaution, EOD attended and carried out a controlled explosion.
