Join thousands of others who have signed up for the Daily Record newsletter.Schools in South Lanarkshire will return full time in August.First Minister Nicola Sturgeon today (Thursday, July 30) confirmed that pupils would be able to attend school as normal after the summer break.Pupils in South Lanarkshire are set to return on August 12 and the council has confirmed that staff and parents will be contacted beforehand to update them on the arrangements.Schools will be allowed to reopen on a phased basis during the first week, but all pupils will be back full-time as of August 18.Children in primary schools won't need to physically distance but, where possible, high schools should take practical steps to encourage distancing between senior.
