Commuters advised no trains running on East Kilbride line this weekend

ScotRail is urging customers to allow extra time for their journey as essential improvement works take place this weekend.No trains will be running on either the East Kilbride or Barrhead lines from 1.15am on Saturday, September 28 to 5:30am on Tuesday, October 1, as two bridges are demolished and replaced.This will also impact journeys between Kilmarnock and Glasgow, which will also be replaced by a bus service.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
