Chappell Roan Cancels NYC & DC Festival Appearances This Weekend Amid Controversial Political Statements
justjared.comChappell Roan has canceled more concert dates. The 26-year-old “Good Luck Babe” faced backlash when she recently canceled some shows in Europe, seemingly to fit in a performance at the MTV VMAs earlier this month.
Now, Chappell has canceled more appearances for her mental health. Chappell was scheduled to appear at the All Things Go Music Festival in New York City on Saturday (September 28) and in DC on Sunday (September 29).
She took to her Instagram Stories on Friday to announce that she won’t be doing either show. Head inside to read her statement… “I apologize to people who have been waiting to see me in NYC & DC this weekend at All Things Go, but I am unable to perform.
Things have gotten overwhelming over the past few weeks and I am really feeling it,” Chappell said. “I feel pressures to prioritize a lot of things right now and I need a few days to prioritize my health.
