Kerry King just announced a North American tour that will send him and his backing band — featuring Slayer drummer Paul Bostaph— to venues all over the U.S.
and Canada in January and February.Late in the 28-concert run, they’re slated to headline at New York City’s Irving Plaza on Friday, Feb.
7 along with special guests Municipal Waste and Alien Weaponry.The nationwide trek is in support of his recently-released debut solo album “From Hell I Rise” and comes on the heels of King’s recent jaunt supporting Lamb of God and Mastodon. “We’ll be headlining on this next tour, so we’re playing a longer set than we did with Lamb of God and Mastodon,” King said. “We’ve got a little bit of a learning curve, so will start rehearsing the first week of November.
