Coleen Rooney has revealed her husband Wayne's shocked response to her exposing Rebekah Vardy for leaking stories about their private life.The mother of four appeared on BBC's The One Show to discuss her new Disney+ documentary, Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story.

The show will detail how Coleen turned into an amateur social media detective to find an explanation for why private stories about her and her family continued to appear in the media.

Presenters Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas quizzed Coleen on Wayne's reaction to her publicly calling out Rebekah Vardy. Sharing that she had kept her investigation to herself and not told him anything, she said: "Well, he was in America at the time, and he just said, 'What have you done?' "People were shocked, especially people close to me, that I'd put it on social media because that's not my character at all." In addition to documenting her famous libel case against Rebekah Vardy, dubbed "Wagatha Christie," the three-part series will also detail how Coleen's high-profile marriage to former England player Wayne Rooney has played out in public for the last 20 years.

Talking about what viewers can expect, Coleen added: "I think the documentary gave me time to tell my story, and it was just a good way to tell it from beginning to end." Coleen also insisted that she still has 'no regrets' over the way she publicly outed Rebekah, claiming that she put out warnings to her close friends beforehand.
