After Coleen Rooney revealed all about the infamous Wagatha Christie drama, a source has exclusively revealed to OK! that she's delighted to be back in the world of TV.
And as hubby Wayne, 38, gets stuck into his new role as manager of Birmingham City football club, Coleen is revelling in the incredible reaction to her Disney+ series and thrilled to put the whole saga behind her. “Filming the documentary means Coleen and Wayne can say goodbye to all the stress of the Wagatha case and the added pressure on their marriage living through such a challenging time,” said the source.
They continued: “She and Wayne have been through the mill with the court case but now they’re putting it behind them. They’re focusing on the future. They’re stronger than ever and they’re in a great place. They’re a team.” Now that she’s back in the headlines for all the right reasons, they said a determined Coleen is planning on making the most of her new profile.
She’s no stranger to telly of course - as well as the latest reality series, she also filmed last year’s Rooney documentary for Netflix, and in 2006 worked with Sir Trevor McDonald on a programme about Rett syndrome, a rare brain disorder which eventually led to her sister’s death at just 14.
