Coldplay's Chris Martin has spoken out for the first time after he was accused of stealing £30 on his first day working at a supermarket years ago.
Times have changed, now he's a mega pop star yet he's never forgotten. And the musician wanted to set the record straight in the spotlight that he never stole the cash.
At the time, Chris was working at Kwik Save in the late 1990's when his manager pointed the finger at him on his first day. All these years later, the Coldplay star spoke out to clear his name in an interview on the radio.
He told BBC Radio 2: "I used to work at a supermarket called Kwik Save in the late 1990's... I don't drink or smoke or do the lottery so they put me on the alcohol and cigarette counter where they sell scratch
