mirror.co.ukA TV news host broke down in tears live on air as Joe Biden was declared the next President of the United States. Van Jones was on CNN with news anchor Anderson Cooper as he read out the declaration that Donald Trump failed to win a second term in office.
Wiping away tears Mr Jones said he wanted his sons to be watching as it was easier to be a parent today. He gave his opinion on what the last four years under Mr Trump had been like and at times he paused as his voice broke with emotion.
Mr Jones said today was a good day for America as he stumbled through his words and spoke from the heart. He said: "Well, it's easier to be a parent this morning.
