CM Punk Joins Syfy Series ‘Revival’ (EXCLUSIVE)

variety.comJoe Otterson TV Reporter WWE star CM Punk has joined the upcoming Syfy horror series “Revival” in a recurring role, Variety has learned exclusively.
As previously reported, the show was picked up at Syfy back in May and is based on the Image Comics series by Tim Seeley and Mike Norton.
Production is currently underway in New Brunswick, Canada. Punk, a diehard comic book fan whose real name is Phil Brooks, will appear alongside previously announced cast members Melanie Scrofano, Romy Weltman, David James Elliott, and Andy McQueen.
Variety also previously reported that Steven Ogg will appear in a recurring role as well. Exact details on the character Punk will play are being kept under wraps.
