East Kilbride boss Mick Kennedy has held further talks with Clyde over the vacant manager position at the club - and it is understood the job is his if he wants it.The Kilby gaffer was in the dugout last night as East Kilbride won a thrilling Lowland League clash 4-3 at Bo'ness United to make it 14 games unbeaten at the top of the table. That result stretched their lead at the top to five points with two games in hand over nearest rivals Cumbernauld Colts, who they face this Saturday.Kennedy now has a decision to make whether to stick with in-form Kilby as they push for promotion to League Two, or move up the pyramid immediately by jumping ship to Clyde, who are currently second bottom in the fourth tier. The 43-year-old knows winning a league outside of the SPFL is no guarantee of promotion, with his Darvel side winning the West of Scotland Premier Division and reaching the play-off final for the Lowland League two seasons ago, only to lose the final to Tranent. And now he will have to decide where he sees his future.
