Strictly Come Dancing host Claudia Winkleman has spilled the beans on who is her favourite colleague behind-the-scenes. Chatting with Vernon Kay on his BBC Radio 2 show, she gushed about her top tunes during Vernon's Tracks Of My Years segment and gave a special shout-out to Primal Scream's 'Movin' On Up' as one of her ultimate tracks.

She then confessed to Vernon her eagerness to feature some of the band's hits on Strictly, leading her to sing praises for the show's executive producer, Sarah James.

Claudia enthused: "We've got an amazing boss on Strictly called Sarah, who is the love of my life, she's amazing. And I'm always saying, 'Have you considered Primal Scream?'" Sarah, who stepped up as executive producer in 2019 after a five-year stint on the show, once acknowledged that the "buck stopped with me".

In another part of the show with Vernon, Claudia opened up about her style muse, which she amusingly describes as a "mature male French student".The star revealed that the BBC squad, especially Sarah, are constantly nudging her to ditch her indie-rock "uniform" for a dash of dazzle.
