Classic car show aims to raise thousands of pounds for hospice in Lanarkshire

Petrol heads and motoring enthusiasts will have the chance to see over 120 classic and sports cars this month.The Gartcosh Classic Car Show will feature a host of superb motors from across the country whil raising money for St Andrew’s Hospice.The annual show, organised by Gartcosh Classic & Sportscar Club, has been running for years during which it has raised tens of thousands of pounds for charities including, CHAS, The Beatson, and Cash for Kids.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

We have a few trade stands coming along and the social club will also be open for refreshments.“We’re doing this for St Andrew’s Hospice, there’s no entrance fee but we take donations from those who are showing their cars and we run a tombola on the day as well.“There’s a lot of businesses that also donate before and after the event.

Joe Kelly, who’s been organising the event for years has his own business and is vey good at fundraising. We normally make quite a substantial amount for the charities.”The fun family day out will take place at
