Police sealed off a road in Manchester city centre after a man was assaulted outside a bar in the early hours of this morning.
Officers were called to Withy Grove at around 5.30am today (Saturday) after reports a man had been injured outside Roxy Ballroom on Withy Grove.
The road was taped off in both directions for several hours at the junction of Dantzic Street as police carried out their investigations.
It reopened just after 10am. No further details about the nature of the attack or the man's injuries have been released at this stage but GMP said enquiries remain ongoing.
