A multi-storey city car park will be closed to the public for more than three days to accommodate the UCI World Cycling Championships.The Wellgreen Car Park will close from 8pm on Tuesday and re-open on Saturday at 9am to allow residents impacted by the race route to park their vehicles.A Stirling Council spokesperson said: “This is to allow local residents facing temporary restrictions as a result of the UCI World Cycling Championships to park their vehicles.
Alternative parking can be found at the Thistles Centre or at the Forthside pay and display.“Residential permit holders must have their existing permit with them to gain entry to the car park.“Existing Wellgreen season ticket holders will be able to use the car park but must obtain a permit for the duration of the closure from a member of staff at the car park to be able to gain entry.“Residential permit holders and existing season ticket holders will have 24-hour access to the car park during this period.”
