Christine McGuinness has said her double diagnosis 'changed her life' before she split from her husband Paddy McGuinness. The model was diagnosed with autism in 2021, aged 33, after all three of her children received the same diagnosis.
Since finding out about having the lifelong spectrum condition, which means your brain works in a different way to other people and influences your communication and social skills and the regulation of emotions, Christine has been a keen campaigner and continues to raise awareness on the disorder.
When first sharing the news, Christine said on social media that she was "autistic and proud". In a post on Instagram she wrote: "I got my diagnosis a few months ago.
I have felt different my whole life. Honestly, I am relieved to finally understand myself!"
