Mother-of-three Christine McGuinness has shared a fun way of explaining germs and the importance of washing hands to children.

The Real Housewives of Cheshire star has posted a video on Instagram introduced as 'a simple way to explain germs to children' in the light of the coronavirus pandemic.

The 32-year-old wife of Top Gear host Paddy McGuinness shared the clip with the hashtag #WashYourHands. In the video she showed her six-year-old son Leo what happens when you use soap to tackle germs. "Okay, so we're going to talk about germs," she told him.

To demonstrate germs, Christine sprinkled pepper into water. She then asked Leo, who has a twin sister Penelope, to place a finger into the water and watch the pepper stick to it.
