Photographs this morning show kids walking to school with their parents as the Met Office warned of treacherously icy conditions with fears another "Beast from the East" could strike in days.
But a huge number of schools outside the 60 worst-hit areas in England have refused to comply with advice to reopen. It comes as Labour leader Keir Starmer led calls for a national lockdown. Is your child back at school today?
