Cheryl set for 'career comeback' but knows her pop star days 'have come to an end'
ok.co.ukCheryl is reportedly set to make a huge career comeback which is said to have sparked a showbiz bidding war - although she's expected to take her career in a different direction from pop music.
The Geordie singer first found fame in TV contest Popstars: The Rivals in 2002, winning a place in Girls Aloud and going on to rack up a string of hits with her group and also in her solo career.
She might not have released any new music for a while now, but Cheryl made a successful pivot into reality show judging with a starring role on The X Factor panel and as a team captain on The Greatest Dancer, and has recently taken a different direction again into acting.
Cheryl made her West End debut this year in Danny Robins' play 2:22 A Ghost Story where she starred alongside EastEnders' Jake Wood from January to April, and is said to have been bitten by the acting bug.
