Cheryl Burke Signs First-Look Deal With ABC

deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Cheryl Burke is coming back to ABC. The longtime Dancing with the Stars pro has signed a first-look deal with the network.
Under the agreement, Burke will develop entertainment programming such as scripted and unscripted live-action and animated series, as well as specials and podcasts.
Burke left DWTS in 2022 after 26 seasons. During her memorable tenure in the ballroom, she was the first female pro to win the Mirror Ball Trophy and the first pro in the history of the franchise to become a back-to-back champion.
After leaving DWTS, Burke went on to launch “Sex, Lies, and Spray Tans,” an iHeartRadio podcast that took a deep — and sometimes controversial — dive into the ballroom competition show.
