Ozzy Osbourne

John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne (born 3 December 1948) is an English singer, songwriter, actor and television personality. He rose to prominence during the 1970s as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, during which he adopted the nickname "The Prince of Darkness".

Osbourne was fired from the band in 1979 due to alcohol and drug problems, but he went on to have a successful solo career, releasing eleven studio albums, the first seven of which were all awarded multi-platinum certifications in the United States. Osbourne has since reunited with Black Sabbath on several occasions.

While on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” late last year, the iconic singer stated that her omission left her with a sour taste and that she would never join the Hall of Fame if they offered. “I wouldn’t be in it now if they gave me a million dollars,” she said. “I’m never going to change my mind.

They can just go you-know-what themselves.” Now, after she was included as a nominee for this year’s class alongside Mary J.

Blige, Peter Frampton and Ozzy Osbourne, she’s changed her opinion on attending the ceremony this fall. “I can thank David Geffen, my friend and most wonderful person ever, and John Sikes,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “I’m going to have some words to say.
