The January transfer window, at least when it comes to the Premier League, has often revolved around Olivier Giroud's future in recent seasons.
The striker ended a lengthy spell with Arsenal to join London rivals Chelsea in the 2018 January window, while last year he came very close to joining Inter Milan.
Giroud has scarcely been out of the headlines in 2021, either, with Ligue 1 and Serie A clubs continuing to court the 34-year-old.
But there is a positive update for Chelsea as they aim to keep hold of their joint-top scorer for at least the remainder of the season.
