dailystar.co.ukFrank Lampard has confirmed Chelsea will need to assess Hakim Ziyech’s injury after the summer signing was forced off during the pre-season clash with Brighton.
Ziyech joined the Blues from Ajax this summer and has looked impressive in training alongside his new team-mates.Though he could now be a doubt for the start of the Premier League season with the new campaign getting underway in two weeks time.
Ziyech was forced off ten minutes into the second half at the Amex as Chelsea drew 1-1 with their Premier League counterparts.
Lampard provided an update as he said that Ziyech had suffered "a little twist to the knee that will have to be assessed."In an Instagram post after the game, £33.3m signing Ziyech didn’t mention the injury.He wrote:.
