Chef shows how to make incredible three-course meal on a budget using tinned food

With many people on furlough or out of work due to the pandemic, people will be looking for savvy ways to save money. But Asda have shown that you can still eat incredibly well, even on a budget.

The supermarket have teamed up with MasterChef veteran, Dean Edwards, to challenge stereotypes and create a three-course tin-spirational meal made from tins.

Their meal showcases how you can enjoy fine dining food for a fraction of the price, with it costing as little as £3.67 pp versus £42.80 at popular restaurants.

A recent poll of 2,000 Brits revealed that almost half (48 percent) still turn their nose up at tinned food (especially millennials 76 percent), and would only use them as a ‘last resort’ when they don’t have anything fresh.
