Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in the New York City borough of Queens, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.
The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.
Budget supermarket Aldi has been named the UK's cheapest place to shop for the month of June, by consumer champions Which?. They found shoppers could save over £16 on a basket of items there compared to the most expensive store.The company analysis involved comparing the average prices of a shop consisting of the most popular groceries, at eight of the UK's biggest supermarkets.
This study is completed every month, in order to find the UK's cheapest supermarket on average across the whole year.In June, Aldi took the crown, where a basket of goods cost £75.25 on average across the month.
Lidl was just behind Aldi, with a difference of £1.93 (£77.18). Waitrose was the most expensive this month, with a basket of goods totalling £91.80, that is 22 per cent more than Aldi – a difference of £16.55.On a larger shop of 134 items, Asda came out on top - which is a title they have held since January 2020.
This shop consisted of the original 42 items on the smaller list, including 92 more products, which included branded items like Cathedral City cheese and Andrex toilet paper.The larger shop did not include budget supermarkets Aldi and Lidl, as they don't typically stock some of the bigger branded items.
