Charlie Gard's parents Connie Yates and Chris Gard were subject to horrific trolling after he died. Baby Charlie's case received worldwide attention in 2017 when his parents fought a bitter legal battle to have him transferred from Great Ormond Street Hospital to the US for treatment.
He was born with a rare genetic disorder, that caused progressive brain damage and muscle failure. They sadly lost and Charlie was taken off life support on July 28, 2017 aged just 11 months and 24 days.
The bereaved parents, who announced they were expecting a child over the weekend, appeared on This Morning on Monday to talk about their new baby news but before they discussed their next chapter they reflected on the tough time around Charlie's death.
