Charlie Edwards is aiming to become a multi-weight boxing world champion as he eyes up a fresh start with new promoter Frank Warren.

The former WBC flyweight title holder has penned a promotional deal with Warren after leaving Matchroom Sport and Eddie Hearn.

The Surrey-born puncher has been out of the ring since August but is now keen for world honours at super-flyweight and can one day see himself mixing it with the best at bantamweight. “It would be a dream come true,” said Edwards. “It has been an ambition since I was a kid to win world titles in two weights.” It was his last fight when Edwards knew he couldn't stay at flyweight as the 27 year old opened up on the harrowing experience of making 8st for the final time that left him
