Charli XCX, Cardi B and Ellie Goulding are among fans of Ceechynaa‘s latest single ‘Peggy’.Following on from previous releases ‘Legal baby’ and ‘Last Laugh’, the 20-year-old rapper shared the track earlier this month, and this week marked her first-ever chart entry after it debuted at Number 79 on the Official UK Singles Chart.Fans have embraced its subversion of gender roles and equally sexual and sadistic imagery.

Numerous lines in the explicit track have gone viral, notably: “‘Chyna, please have mercy, I ain’t gettin’ paid ’til the end of the week’ / I don’t give a fuck, shut the fuck up / Get on your knees and grease my feet (Pussy)“.Both Charli XCX and Ellie Goulding shared videos on TikTok singing the line, with the ‘Love Me Like You Do’ singer nodding to the controversial lyrics by writing: “Outrageous and here for it” with “IM SORRY” in the caption.Meanwhile, XCX simply opted to wish everyone “happy holidays!” in her version.
