Charles and Camilla fly to Edinburgh for emotional journey accompanying Queen’s coffin

Charles and Camilla waved at dozens of members of the public as they arrived in a Rolls Royce with a police escort at about 11.15am on Monday.The 96 year old Queen Elizabeth II passed away "peacefully" at Balmoral Castle, Aberdeenshire on Thursday, 8 September, before her coffin was taken to the throne room of the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Edinburgh, where members of the public could come to pay their respects.
After a historic meeting with members of parliament in London this morning, King Charles has flown to Edinburgh to meet his siblings and take part in a solemn procession when the coffin of Queen Elizabeth II is taken to the city's historic St Giles' cathedral.
