Chappell Roan seems to have introduced some new music on Saturday Night Live. The rising pop star surprised audiences when she began singing an unknown country song during her second set, after she made her musical guest debut with her hit “Pink Pony Club.” “When you need the job done, call me, baby,” she sang, set to a farm-like backdrop. “Cause you ain’t gotta tell me.

It’s just in my nature. Take it like a taker, cause baby I’m a giver.” So far, the song isn’t available online, but the name of the track is called “The Giver.” Watch it above.

SNL‘s page posted a gif of the singer twirling and lassoing around in a two-piece gingham getup with the song’s title. The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess singer-songwriter recently teased thata new album was in the works to follow up her smash debut from September 2023.
