There were scenes of chaos at Trafford Retail Park on Thursday (December 21) as shoppers became stuck in 'nightmare' queues for over THREE hours trying to get out of the car park.

One shopper, who lives just a two minute drive from the retail park, claimed she had been trying to leave since 2.30pm but did not make it to the exit until almost 6.30pm - an agonising four hours later.
