According to one royal author, Prince Harry’s wife is ‘desperate to have her say’ following the fireworks that were caused by Omid Scobie’s controversial book, Endgame.

Tom Bower has claimed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, based in Montecito, California, would like nothing more than to wipe the slate clean this year, and that Meghan has been left “bruised” by the backlash received by the book, described as a “gratuitous attack” on Kate Middleton.

He alleged that Meghan would like to write her own memoir - something royal watchers have been wondering about, following the publishing of Prince Harry ’s own memoir, Spare, last January and a Netflix documentary, both of which arguably received mixed reviews. “As she feels more and more bruised as the year goes on, Meghan is going to want to have her say," the royal author told Closer. “Whereas Scobie was a disaster, she’s going to want to correct the impressions [that she collaborated on the book]. “Meghan and Harry’s desperation will only get worse in the new year.” Just some of the bombshell allegations that came to light in Endgame included the royals “treating Kate like a child” and its author likening William’s wife to a “Stepford-like royal.” Endgame claims that the Duchess of Sussex named two family members in private letters written to the King and, though UK laws do not allow the naming of those people in the English versions of the book, names were originally included in the Dutch version - which was swiftly pulled from shelves. There has been silence from Harry and Meghan thus far on Endgame and its contents, though Tom said he has “no doubt” that Meghan “fed” Omid Scobie the ‘royal racist’ names.
