Channing Matthew Tatum (born April 26, 1980) is an American actor and singer. Tatum made his film debut in the drama film Coach Carter (2005). His breakthrough role was in the 2006 dance film Step Up, which introduced him to a wider audience. He is known for his portrayal of the character Duke in the 2009 action film G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and its 2013 sequel G.I. Joe: Retaliation. Although both G.I. Joe films received negative reviews from critics, they were commercially successful, grossing more than $300 million each at the box office.

It was reported earlier this month that Channing Tatum has been cast in spy thriller Red Shirt but now it has been revealed that he will be compensated handsomely for it.The 42-year-old actor will earn a whopping $25million from Amazon for starring and producing the spy thriller according to a Tuesday report from The Hollywood Reporter.The publication claims that the studio has put up more than $50million just to the key creative talent behind the project which THR reports is 'one of the highest, if not the highest, in Hollywood dealmaking history for an original pitch.' Money in the bank: It was reported earlier this month that Channing Tatum has been cast in spy thriller Red Shirt but now it has been revealed that he will be compensated handsomely for it, the actor is seen at the Met Gala in September 2021 Deep pockets: The 42-year-old actor will earn a whopping $25million from Amazon for starring and producing the spy thriller according to a Tuesday report from The Hollywood Reporter David Leitch is directing the film as he will reportedly making $18million.

Simon Kinberg wrote the film as it is claimed that he will become one of the highest paid screenwriters around at a whopping $6million for writing the film but will ultimately earn a total of $8million for his services.Fresh off the success of adventure comedy The Lost City that was a hit at the box office earlier this year, it was reported a week-and-a-half  ago that he will be starring in the upcoming thriller.
