Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Celtic to land Everton's Jonjoe Kenny in deadline day loan deal

Celtic on loan. The Everton defender has been on the fringes at Goodison Park this season. Kenny, 23, is behind Seamus Coleman and Mason Holgate for the right-back slot.The full-back spent last season on loan at Schalke but was hoping to get regular football at Everton this season.But he has made just one Premier League start and now looks set for a move to Scotland.Celtic are in the market for a right back after Jeremie Frimpong departed for Bayer Leverkusen.

Neil Lennon is a keen admirer of Kenny who is likely to join on loan until the end of the season.Everton did consider selling Kenny on a permanent deal but there have been no bidders near the fee they want for him.
