Celtic ultras have been urged to remain silent during the Premiership clash with Motherwell on Sunday, as a form of protest over the potential appointment of Bernard Higgins in a security role.The Green Brigade are taking aim at the Parkhead club over the controversial figure, who as Assistant Chief Constable of Police Scotland played a major role in implementing the Offensive Behaviour at Football Act.A silent protest has been undertaken this season, which will continue with Thursday's Europa League clash against Real Betis, and if necessary, Sunday's match against Graham Alexander's side.They say it will only be avoided if Michael Nicholson meets with fans' organisations to discuss their opposition to Mr Higgins' appointment.A statement
