Champions League were laid bare on Thursday. The Scottish Premiership was 11th in UEFA's coefficient table going into the night but it wasn't a good night in the Europa League for our sides.

Rangers were 3-1 up against 10 man Benfica but ultimately drew 3-3, while Celtic were thrashed 4-1 by Sparta Prague. That means they picked up just one point between them, and as the points are divided among all the clubs a nation enters they added just 0.25 to the coefficient.However, Scotland remain in 11th place for now and that would almost certainly mean an automatic place in the Champions League for 2022-23.A total of 32 teams go into the group stage, of which 26 will qualify automatically.Those are the league winners from the top 10 countries by.
