In a tragic turn of events, echoing the loss of the legendary Steve Irwin, South African wildlife enthusiast and YouTuber Graham 'Dingo' Dinkelman has died following complications from a venomous snake bite.The father of three, affectionately known as South Africa's Steve Irwin, fell victim to a cobra attack around a month ago which led to anaphylactic shock, ultimately resulting in his passing.

His wife Kirsty confirmed the devastating news and shared that Dingo was courageously fighting for his life in an induced coma under heavy sedation in an intensive care unit.

In her touching tribute, Kirsty expressed profound gratitude for the overwhelming support received, saying: "Dingo fought incredibly hard throughout this very difficult period." She added: "We know that he was fighting to be here with us and we are so grateful for this.

Sadly, despite his strength and resilience, my beloved husband passed away peacefully today, surrounded by his family." Kirsty continued by thanking people far and wide who sent messages of comfort, adding: "Today [Saturday] is one month since the incident, and we have experienced such comfort and love from your messages and prayers from all over the world." Hailing from Pietermaritzburg, western South Africa, Dingo's passion for wildlife conservation won him a dedicated global fanbase, evident from his substantial social media presence, including over 100,000 YouTube subscribers and more than 600,000 Instagram fans.
