Celebrity MasterChef winner Nadia Sawalha slams 'horrifying' Gregg Wallace comments

TV star and former Celebrity MasterChef winner Nadia Sawalha has blasted Gregg Wallace for his 'horrifying' comments in reaction to the allegations made against him.

The Loose Women panellist, who won the celebrity series of the hit BBC show in 2007 revealed that, while she didn't have any negative encounters with Gregg on the show, she was left 'horrified' by how he'd reacted to the recent allegations on his Instagram story.

It comes after it was revealed last week that Gregg, 60, was under investigation after historic complaints surfaced alleging he had made 'sexual comments' on the MasterChef set, with Newsnight's Kirsty Wark among the 13 individuals accusing the MasterChef star of inappropriate conduct. He issued an apology, claiming the complaints had been lodged from 'a handful of middle-class women of a certain age'. He has since announced that he will 'take some time out', reports the Mirror.
