Celebrity Gogglebox has been hit by almost 200 Ofcom complaints over Shaun Ryder and Bez's jokes about drugs. The TV regulator began receiving complaints earlier this month since the programme began airing over the pair's drugs-related jokes.

Last Friday, the Happy Mondays stars had been watching an episode of First Dates when Shaun quipped: "My chat up line used to be, 'Do you want a line?'." They went on to joke about "ounces and eights" and when speaking about plans to reduce social distancing, Shaun said that he didn't know how far a metre was.
