CCTV shows horror moment huge machete is aimed at men in 'altercation'

Horror CCTV images have revealed the moment a huge machete was aimed at two men in an 'altercation' in Wigan. The incident unfolded on Darlington Street in Wigan on January 10.

Footage shared on social media appears to show a man running across the street as he is followed by another person, dressed in black and wielding the weapon.

Captured at around 9.51pm last Friday, a man in a lighter coloured top can be seen running along the pavement, closely followed by the person holding the blade, before he falls down into the road while trying to get away and raises is arms in the air, in a bid to shield himself.

There then appears to be some sort of short altercation, with another man in dark coloured clothing also becoming involved. The suspect then appears to strike the first victim with the machete, before then aiming the blade at the second male, who steps backwards into the road.
