Security equipment at an unstaffed petrol station was not working properly on the day a man entered the forecourt and died following a fire, an inquest heard.
Afolabi Ojerinde died in hospital one day after being found with severe burns on the forecourt at the Tesco supermarket in Blackley, close to the M60.
Previously described in court as "a dignified man", Afolabi had used a payment card to activate the pump at the unstaffed petrol station.
