Outlander actress Catriona Balfe has opened up about what it was like to model in some of the biggest shows in the world, and it isn’t as glam as we might think.
Catriona always knew that she wanted to be an actress, however, her career path slightly changed when she was scouted by a model agency when she was bag packing in Marks and Spencer in the Swan Centre in Rathmines.
Now, the 41-year-old has revealed how tough it really was modelling on the catwalks of Paris, and the constant pressure she felt being compared to others.
Speaking to Angela Scanlon on her Thanks a Million podcast, Catriona explained that when she moved to Paris for her modelling career, she would have to come home and do little jobs just to have enough money to survive.
