Caroline Flack's tragic death has prompted the Crown Prosecution Service to investigate its actions. Back in February, the TV presenter took her own life while awaiting a court trial.
In December 2019, Caroline had pleaded not guilty to assaulting her boyfriend Lewis Burton, and at that hearing, the court heard that Lewis did not support the decision to prosecute her.
Yesterday (March 3), the CPS confirmed there would be "a post-case review panel conducted by a deputy chief crown prosecutor," (via The Mirror).
