Caroline Flack ’wasn’t valued’ by ITV and didn't get same support as Ant McPartlin, claims radio host

Former Love Island star Caroline Flack’s tragic death has prompted Johnnie Walker to criticise ITV over the lack of “support” for the late star.

Caroline was just 40 years of age when she was found dead at her home in east London in February. A few months before she took her own life, Caroline stepped down from her role as Love Island host after being arrested for assault by beating following an incident involving her boyfriend Lewis Burton, 27.

ITV bosses later confirmed the door is still open for Caroline to return to Love Island after her arrest. Caroline later pleaded not guilty to the charge and was due to appear in court on 4 March, however, she tragically took her own life weeks before the trial.
