The TV star turned 60 on Christmas Eve and she spent the festive period with her family. But don't go thinking her life isn't complete just because there's no man by her side.
The former Countdown favourite says being single suits her down to the ground and she isn't planning to change that in the years ahead.
Carol told The Telegraph she is not clinging to the hope of finding love again and refuses to go looking. She said: "The thought of sharing my life with someone again makes me feel positively sick. "I have a ridiculously happy and absurd life.
