The former Countdown presenter, 62, joined Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary as she took calls from viewers who were experiencing romantic troubles.
One woman, Helena, said she had been single for 26 years. She explained she is 56 and was very nervous as the last time she had a relationship there were "no mobile phones, or social media".

She said: "You don't have to find someone to love, you have to find some way of being happy and you can be happy without one person, you can be happy all sorts of ways. "If you do want a partner it's about having to have the courage to go 'I don't mind being rejected' and that's a big stage and a lot of people are worried about rejection.
